Sanjay Dutt s mother Nargis Dutt was a cancer patient and she died in 1981 just 5 days before the release of his first film “Rocky”. His mom wanted to see him on silver screen but unfortunately she could not. After this incident he started drugs. Soon after he realized he was wrong and he wanted to start a new life so he changed the spelling of his name from “Sunjay Dutt” to “Sanjay Dutt”.
Sanjay Dutt did not have any work for four years after he got arrested in the Mumbai Serial Blasts. After this many friends from the industry including Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Ajay Devgan supported Sanjay Dutt. Director Raj Kumar Hirani announced a biopic on Sanjay Dutt starring Ranbir Kapoor. The film Showed the real side of his life and was loved by the audience.
