Apu Biswas was born on October 10, 1989 ( 31 years old as of 2019) to Upendronath Biswas & Shefali Bishwas in Bogra, Bangladesh. The actress was born in a Hindu family. Apu was passionate about acting from her childhood and took training to dance from Shilpakola Academy. She was encouraged by her parents to work in the media industry.
In 2008, Apu Biswas secretly tied a knot with the famous Bangladeshi actor Shakib Khan and changed her name to Apu Islam Khan. The fact was hidden until it was revealed in a private television show on April 10, 2017. Apu Biswas Husband Shakib Khan confirmed the fact that Apu Biswas is her Wife. The lovely couple has one son named Abraham Khan Joy was born on September 27, 2016.

In 2006, Apu Biswas made her debut in the film industry with the film “Kal Sokale”. Apu showed her magnificent performance in “Koti Takar Kabin” was well appreciated by her critics and helped her to establish a permanent position in Dhallywood. In many of his films, she acted with the famous Bangladeshi actor Shakib Khan. The duo of Shakib and Apu became one of the most popular movie pairs in the film industry in Bangladesh. Apu Biswas successful films include “Jaan Qurban”, “King Khan”, “Ekbar Bol Valobashi”, “Ek Mon Ek Pran” & “My Name Is Khan”.
In 2013, she played the role of “Parvati” a Bangladeshi remake of the film Devdas. Also In 2013, the film “My Name Is Khan” gave her the fame and has established herself as one of Bangladesh’s most renowned celebrity in Dhallywood. Apu took a break from the movies and after a year off, appeared with a new appearance, drastically reduced her weight and framed a new body structure. Currently, the actress is working on a new movie “Shosur Bari Zindabad 2” which will be released in 2018.
