Megha Dhade was born on May 23, 1988, Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India. She is now 30 years old as of 2018. She belongs from a hmin Hindu family. Megha is very close to her parents. She considers famous choreographer Ganesh Acharya as her brother and every year she ties rakhi to him and shares a very strong bond. Megha is also known as Pari Pawaskar aka Pari.
She was an active participant in her school dramas, theatre, and plays. Although nobody from her family was in the media business and acting field, she had developed an interest in acting. Despite being born in a family of highly qualified people, she dropped out of college to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. Her family is very much supportive towards her every decision.
She was raised in Jalgaon but moved to Mumbai pursuing her education. Megha started with electrical engineering but later she moved into the glamour world. Megha was in school when she started acting in theatre plays. Dhade started her career at a young age of 18-19. As her family was very strict about her studies but as she used to participate in the school plays and had done a lot of Marathi theatre, she decided to become an actress. And so, after completing her school, Megha started giving auditions for Hindi TV serials.
After a few months of struggle, Dhade bagged a role in Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap opera ‘Kasuti Zindagi Ki‘. Later on, she appeared in many Hindi TV serials including ‘Kis Dhesh Mai Hai Mera Dil’ and ‘Kasturi‘. Megha being associated with the Marathi plays and industry; turned her focus to Marathi cinema.
She did her first Marathi film titled ‘Matter‘ in the year of 2012, from then there was no looking back for her. Megha’s decision was unique, but it proved to be the best for her career. She established herself as a successful mainstream actress of Marathi cinema and has also entered into production with her movie ‘Superstar’ (2011) at a young age as the movie wasn’t getting any producers.
Big Boss Appearance :-
Megha along with Marathi films has also done a few reality shows including ‘Zhunj Marathmoli’(2014) and ‘Bigg Boss Marathi Season 1′ (2018). She was declared as the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi 1 on 22 June 2018 and won price money RS 50 lakhs. Her decision of moving from Hindi Tv serials to Marathi cinema is unique but has also benefitted her. She has done various modeling projects, TV commercials and print shoot too.
At present, Megha has entered into the most controversial tv reality shoe “BIG BOSS Season 12” as a wildcard contestant along with Rohit Suchanti. Her fans are waiting for her to spice up the show and entertain the Hindi Big Boss audience too.
