Vivan Bhatena was born on born 28 October 1978 in Amritsar, Punjab India. His parents moved to Mumbai before Vivan’s birth. He has completed his schooling from Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School in Mumbai. After completing his education, he joined in the University of Mumbai and graduated Bachelor of Commerce from there. Vivan is a fitness enthusiast and he loves to spend time on the ground and in the gym. In 2007, Vivan got married to Nikhila Bhatena.

Vivan Bhatena started his career with modeling and he later progressed towards the big screen. He worked with many popular advertisement companies such as Levis and also worked in few theatre shows before coming into the media industry. Bhatena shifted from modeling to acting with his first television role in “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” as Tulsi’s son-in-law. Vivan got a huge fan following after that and went on to perform many television serials such as “Kumkum”, “Pyaar Ka Bandhan” & many more popular Hindi serials.
In 2007, the first Bollywood film he worked was in “Chak De India”, and since then he has casted in many more movies. Vivan was featured in popular movies like “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”, “Karthik Calling Karthik”, “Dangal”, “Talaash”, “Hero”, “Raja the Great” and “Judwaa 2”. In Dangal, he played a negative role and he lost almost 10 Kgs to get fit into his role. Vivan has a huge fan following and he gained a lot of fame after working in the movie “Talaash”.
