Sooraj Pancholi is a Hindi film actor who works in Bollywood industry. He made his debut with film Hero in 2015 for which he also received an Filmfare Award for best male debut. His family background belongs to Gujarat but his family is settled in Mumbai since long. Sooraj Pancholi was born to Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab on 5th November 1990 in Mumbai. His grandfather was a filmmaker and parents are bollywood actors.

Before entering into Bollywood Sooraj Pancholi learned martial arts, acting and dancing. His father wanted him to be a big star and does not wants to follow his footsteps. He was launched by Salman Khan in his production house. In 2013 he started dating Bollywood actress Jiah Khan who died by suicide in June the same year. According to Jiah Khan’s suicide note she blamed Sooraj for her death and he was arrested and had to spend 23 days in jail.
