He did his schooling from St. Columba’s School at Delhi. He did his graduation in BA Economics from Hansraj College, Delhi. After completion of his graduation, Khan enrolled in Master Degree programme but later left it for acting career. Before debuting in Hindi cinema, he attended several training institutes in Delhi and among them were National School of Drama and Delhi’s Theatre Action Group.
Bollywood Career and Filmography
Khan made his Bollywood debut with romantic drama film Deewana (1992) with Divya Bharti. It was a hit film and earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. In the same year, he appeared in three films back to back by playing various characters.
In 1993, he performed in a thriller film named Baazigar in which he featured with Shilpa Shetty and Kajol. He received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in Baazigar. In 1994, he acted in Anjaam with Madhuri Dixit in which he played a negative role and grab one more Filmfare Award for Best Villain. His next success film was Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge referred as DDLJ released on 20th October 1995. Early Life and Family
He was born in New Delhi into a Muslim family. He is the son of Meer Taj Mohammed Khan who was an activist of Indian independence and his mother named Lateef Fatima. Khan’s father was live in Peshawar and later moved to New Delhi after the partition of India. Khan’s father and mother died in 1981 and 1991 respectively. He has an older sister named Shahnaz Lalarukh who lives with him. Shah Rukh Khan married with Gauri Chibber on 25th October 1991. He has a daughter named Suhana and two sons named Aryan and Abram. His elder son Aryan is expected to make his acting debut soon in Bollywood. However, he currently studying entertainment programme at USC School of Cinematic Arts in California.
