Early and Personal Life
He was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and currently lives at Galaxy Apartments located at Bandra (West), Mumbai.
He is the eldest son of Salim Khan who is an Indian actor, screenwriter, and producer. His mother named Salma Khan who is the first wife of Salim Khan. Salim Khan immigrated from Afghanistan to Indore while his mother is a Maharashtrian.
He has two brothers named Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan and has two sisters named Alvira Khan and Arpita Khan.
He did his schooling from St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra. He was a dropout college student from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai.

He made his Bollywood debut with Maine Pyar Kiya which was a romantic film released in December 1989. The film became one of the highest-grossing movies which help him to establish in the Bollywood industry.
He later went on the track to play lead roles in back to back three movies released in 1991 which was moderate successes. In 1994, he acted in Hum Aapke Hain Koun in which he featured the opposite of Madhuri Dixit.
