He struggled at the earlier stage of his career with Telugu films to establish himself but failed to do so. He made his debut in Telugu films with Mounamelanoyi and later did two more films in Telugu. He later started to works in Bollywood movies as a leading actor but got a fair response from the audience. Sachin Joshi has made his Bollywood debut with film Aazan which was released in 2011.
He later worked with Telugu version Aashiqui 2 which was a remake of Bollywood movie Aashiqui 2 starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Sachin has also worked in other Bollywood film Jackpot which was released in December 2013. It was a comedy thriller movie in which he was a lead male opposite Sunny Leone.
