Nagarjuna had attended the Hyderabad Public School as well as the Little Flower Junior College. Following this, he finished a year of his engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, under Anna University.
From the Eastern Michigan University situated in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Nagarjuna had earned his Mechanical Engineering degree in BS. With such proper alma maters, Nagarjuna is among the many actors in the South with brilliant educational backgrounds before they eventually entered into acting full time.
Nagarjuna was already acting in films from a very young age, with his first film being Sudigundalu, a Telegu Film which released in 1967. Later, he went on to star in the lead role in the 1986 Telegu movie Vikram.
