Ambani took birth in the beautiful city of Aden, Yemen. Kokilaben Ambani and Dhirubhai Ambani were blessed with Mukesh Ambani as their child on 19 April 1957. He has two sisters, namely, Dipti Dattaraj Salgaocar and Nina Bhadrashyam Kothari and one younger brother named Anil Ambani.
Ambani stayed at his birth city Yemen only for a short time since his father decided to settle in India during 1958 and establish a trading business for textiles and spices. In the beginning time, the company was given the famous name “Vimal.” Though, later it changed to “Only Vimal!”
Ambani’s family stayed in their residence in a small apartment with 2 bedrooms in the stunning city of Bhleshwar, in Mumbai till the period of the 1970s. When the family shifted to India, there arose an improvement in their financial status.
