Early and Personal Life
Deepak Gambhir (father) and Seema Gambhir (mother) got blessed with Gautam Gambhir on 14 October 1981 in New Delhi. His mother was a housewife and father as a businessman in the textile sector.
Later, after two years of his birth, Gambhir’s family got blessed with a baby girl, Ekta. After 18 days of birth, Gambhir’s grandparents adopted him and he stayed at their residence after then.
School Life and Education
Gambhir got admission into the Modern School, New Delhi to complete his schooling. Afterward, he pursued his graduation from the prestigious Hindu College, Delhi University.
At just 10-years-age, he began his career as a cricketer. In the ’90s, he used to reside at his uncle’s residence, Pawan Gulati.
In his career, he was under the coaches Raju Tandon and Sanjay Bharadwaj. In 2000, he got elected as the first intake in the ‘National Cricket Academy’ in Bangalore.
