Education and Early Career
He did his primary schooling from Gaelscoil and Gaelcholaiste while secondary education from Colaiste de hide, Tallaght. He was interested in sports from his childhood and played as a footballer from Lourdes Celtic Football Club. He started his boxing career at the age of twelve only and played from Crumlin Boxing Club. Later then in 2006, he moved to Lucan with his family and starts his training in plumbing. Following the year, he started his training in mixed martial arts.
In 2007, Conor made his fight debut in mixed martial arts against Kieran Campbell for the Irish Ring of Truth. After his performance in the debut fight, Conor was bought by the Cage of Truth to starts his professional career.
In March 2008, he made his debut in the professional fight against Gary Morris with TKO in the 2nd round. After won his fight as a lightweight, he then won his next MMA bout as a featherweight. After winning both titles at lightweight and featherweight, he approached by UFC president to sign with the UFC. In April 2013, Conor made his debut in UFC against Marcus Brimage and won the fight with a technical knockout.
In Dec 2015, He won the UFC Featherweight Championship in the event of UFC 194. In November 2016, he won his next fight and earned the UFC Lightweight Championship title in the event of UFC 205.
