Ambati Rayudu also known as Ambati Thirupathi Rayudu is an Indian Cricketer and current captain of the Andhra Team. He is a right handed batsman and usually keeps his right arms and wickets off breaks. Ambati Rayudu plays for Hyderabad team and Chennai Super Kings in IPL. Ambati Rayudu started his cricket coaching when he was just 8 years old. His father got him enrolled in the Hyderabad coaching camp which was run by the cricketer Vijay Paul. He made his debut in the year 2002 when he was just 16 with the Ranji Trophy. Ambati Rayudu has captained the under 19 World cup team which had big players like RP Singh, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Kartik, Shikhar Dhawan and Irfan Pathan.
Ambati Rayudu was picked up as a replacement for the injured player Manoj Tiwari in the T20 series with England. Along with batsman he is also a part time wicket keeper and off spinner.
