Tijo Varghese was born on 7th October ,1987 in Thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta in the state of Kerala, India as Thyparambil Thomas Varghese. He is an Indian Magician who is passionate about art from childhood.
His passion for the art of magic originated in his childhood days when a popular magician in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu, India) visited his school to perform a magic show. Dr. Tijo got mesmerized by the performances given by this magician. He wanted to get into this field and with the extensive support of his parents, Dr. Tijo was introduced to ‘Magic’ Johnson (Johnson Gnanadurai); another popular magic performer from Coimbatore who agreed to train him. Dr. Tijo treats Magic Johnson and Magic Jammu (Magician Jayaram) as his gurus.
Since his first show, Dr. Tijo has become a popular magician in India and well as in the rest of the world. Tijo has always captivated his audiences with mesmerizing performances that include attention stage illusions, platform magic shows, and corporate magic shows on stage as well as on television. Dr. Tijo has received membership from several international magician societies such as the “Society of International Magician in Kuwait” and the “All India Magician Society” in Punjab. .
Dr. Tijo has completed Research in Magic and was felicitated by the World Record University, Faridabad, and Indian Virtual University for Peace and Education, Bengaluru. He had been honored by former Governor of Tamil Nadu, Konijeti Rosaiah for his multiple world record achievements and Magic Realism Award-2018 for his multiple world record achievements at a national convention at Alappuzha. Other achievements include Bharat Book of Records, Andra Book of Records, Vajra World Records, and Global Records. He is also a recipient of the Jadu Ceremony awards, the most prestigious award given to a magician.
